"Magical indeed. We loved our stay in this enchanted glade, so much so we all wished

we were staying for longer. The kids enjoyed exploring the woodlands and chilling in our

toasty cabin. The hot tub and warm shower in this remote spot are quite the treat. And I

wholeheartedly recommend booking the on-site massage, I came out of the massage tent

transformed and able to totally immersive in the natural beauty of this unique setting.

Thank you all - we’ll be back!"

Our family had a fantastic few days in the woods in spite of heavy rain. The cabin
was warm and fantastically comfortable, the trees provided shelter and we had a
great time exploring, foraging, using the hot tub and visiting the nearby brewery.
Maria-Sophia and her family were wonderful hosts. Highly recommended!

'We had 2 gorgeous nights here with our 4&7yr old girls. The weather was not on our side,

but that didn’t spoil the enjoyment at all. The hot tub was such a treat - even in heavy rain!

The cabin is so cosy that we happily spent time napping & playing games whilst the storm

raged outside. The brewery on the estate is an added bonus. Lillo & Maria made this a truly

memorable trip. It’s a rustic haven. Thank you! '

'A truly magical place, even in the rain. We tried the beer from the micro brewery and it

was splendid. You will have to ask at the Tap House itself for information about events

there. The outdoor shower was immense and quite an experience to shower and watch

pheasants running around (but only if you don't close the door). The hosts are fantastic,

helpful and easily contacted. I have to say though that Isla was the star, we would have

never opened the gate without her. If you want peace, calm, freedom from the clock,

technology, light pollution and reconnection with mother earth, this is a fantastic setting.

We 3 stayed in the hut and it was adequate for us. The double bed is incredibly comfortable,

the log burner is just what we needed in the evening and the fresh coffee provided was excellent.

All the pots and pans and everything else you need to cook and eat is provided. F

resh spring water on tap and very tasty. I will return.'

"A beautiful and peaceful location. Our two year old had a wonderful time exploring

the woods and playing on the wooden swing. The shower was spotlessly clean and nice

and hot. The log burner kept the van really warm, and there were lots of blankets for

night time. The cooking facilities were good, and I was amazed by how the compost toilet

did not smell at all! Maria and her partner were brilliant hosts who made us feel so welcome.

Thank you!"

Anna

"A lovely little escape away. The cabin is lovely- well equipped with more pans than you would

need and has olive oil, tea coffee etc and Maria provided a lovely hamper including

vegan alternatives for us. The shower is super hot and powerful and was just what

we needed after some long cycles. It was good weather when we stayed but the log burner

gets the cabin so toasty it would be nice in colder weather too. The walk to the car is only

really 5 minutes and the Brewery on-site is only a short walk too but when you are in the glade

feel like you are in the middle of nowhere."

"The hosts are very gentle and helpful and the place is gorgeous. We had very
relaxing few days and our son loved to explore the surroundings and eat toasted
marshmallows on the fire! A great option to escape from city life - and
pandemics! "

"Nothing can beat this location. The name is correct, an absolutely enchanting
glade. The hosts are lovely and happy to help in whatever way they can. Be sure to
do the foraging add on as Lucy is so amazing at what she does. Such a wonderful
stay, looking forward to when the hot tub arrives!"
